(Queens, NY) -- The Cubs have taken control of their series against the Mets following a 1-0, shutout win from Queens.
Pete Crow-Armstrong's sacrifice fly in the fifth inning accounted for the game's only run. Nico Hoerner went two-for-three at the dish with a double.
Shota Imanaga earned his fifth win of the season after striking out seven batters while allowing three hits over seven innings. Chicago is ahead 2-1 in the four-game series and sits second in the NL Central at 19-and-12.
Jeff McNeil recorded a pair of hits for the Mets. Jose Butto got saddled with the loss after giving up the lone run on four hits over six innings. New York is third in the NL East at 15-and-15.
Final game in the series is Thursday afternoon in New York.
