Cubs shut out for the second straight game against the Braves

The Braves are causing fits for the Cubs. Atlanta shut out Chicago for a second straight game following a 7-0 victory from Truist Park.

Chris Sale earned the win after striking out nine batters while allowing just two hits over seven innings. The bullpen gave up only one more hit over the final two frames.

Matt Olson crushed a three-run homer, while Michael Harris-the-Second also went deep. Ozzie Albies recorded a pair of hits and scored twice as the Braves remain second in the NL East at 26-and-13.

Patrick Wisdom laced a double for one of Chicago's three hits. Jameson Taillon suffered the loss as the Cubs are still second in the NL Central at 24-and-19.
