ROCHELLE - The Human Resources Director of the City of Rochelle has retired. Nancy Bingham is stepping away after nine years in Rochelle and a long career serving the public.
“I enjoy my work,” she said Monday, “I’ve been doing it for almost 30 years, so now it’s time to step away and let the next generation take over.”
Rochelle Mayor John Bearrows said Bingham has done a great job setting the city up for success in the future.
“We appreciate you grooming the next generation to fill your shoes,” he said, “they’ll be big shoes to fill, thank you very much.”
