ROCKFORD - A man charged with killing four people in Rockford in March is being deemed fit to stand trial. A judge ordered a psychiatric evaluation last month for Christian Soto, who is accused of stabbing, beating or driving over the victims in March in a Rockford neighborhood. During an arraignment hearing yesterday, the judge said that she agreed with a doctor's finding that Soto was fit for trial. Soto faces four counts of first-degree murder and other charges.
