OREGON - The new director of the Ogle County Economic Development Corporation Charlene Coulombe introduced herself to the Oregon City Council on Tuesday night. She stated that although Oregon has a fantastic business and community environment, the OCEDC will be willing to bridge the gap for any needs big and small to help Ogle County and the community grow.
“Fortunately, they have done a lot of great things with their marketing efforts,” Coulombe said, “so what I have been working on is just trying to identify any businesses that have gone out of business or are wanting to sell their building, so we can try to get somebody in them. We don’t want any vacant buildings.”
