DEKALB - Visitation and Funeral Plans have been set for the DeKalb County Deputy who was killed in a crash last week. The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office announced that a public visitation for Deputy Christina Musil will be Thursday from 10 AM to 12 PM at the NIU Convocation Center. The public can park in lot C2 and use Entrance #2. A law enforcement walk through will happen at 12:45 PM. Funeral Services will begin at 1:30 PM. The 35-year-old succumbed to her injuries at a DeKalb hospital following a crash where her parked police SUV was struck from behind by a commercial truck. The crash remains under investigation by the Illinois State Police and the DeKalb County Coroner’s Office.
