OREGON - Ogle County Solid Waste Management Department will be holding their Residential Tire Collection Event today from 8 AM to 2 PM in Oregon. Permits are required ahead of time. The county will charge $2 to dispose of car, light truck, ATV, UTV, lawnmower, and bike tires with or without rims. Ogle County notes that it costs them about $4 to dispose of each tire, and the additional cost will be absorbed by the Solid Waste Management Department. There is a limit of 10 tires per permit, and no businesses, fleet, agricultural, or semi-truck tires will be accepted. The collection will be held at the County Annex Building in Oregon at 909 Pines Road.
