ROCHELLE - The annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration returns to Rochelle this Saturday. The Rochelle Hispanic Community Association will present a day filled with live music, dancing, pageant and more, all in downtown Rochelle. You can find all the fun, including food and craft vendors, in the parking lots on Main Street between 4th and 5th Avenues from 3 PM to 11 PM.
Rosie Arteaga from the Rochelle Hispanic Community Association said the event has regional appeal.
“We’re always so blessed that we have people coming out from all sorts of places.” she said, “and I think our Cinco is so widely attended and continues to grow because people hear good things about Rochelle.”
